Global law firm Dentons and Anglo-Australian firm Herbert Smith Freehills advised Santos on its merger with Oil Search, a deal that will see Australia’s second- and third-largest oil and gas companies combine in a $15 billion deal.
The A$21 billion merger, which was agreed on by both companies on Monday, will bring together assets across Australia, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea and North America.
