U.S. law firm Reed Smith has ceased using the U.K. government furlough support scheme, one week after research by Law.com International found the firm was one of several to have claimed public funds despite posting strong revenue and profit growth.
The U.S. firm claimed between £50,000 and £125,000 from the scheme since December, according to the government data published at the start of July. A spokesperson confirmed the firm is no longer using the scheme.
