Squire Patton Boggs has recruited a tax partner in Paris from U.S. rival Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, bolstering its practice in cross-border tax strategy, private equity, and M&A advice in the French capital.

Charles Briand practiced as a partner for four years at Orrick Rambaud Martel, the French affiliate of Orrick. He previously practiced for 12 years at EY Société d’Avocats, the legal arm of the Big Four accounting firm, including a stint at EY in New York.
