Simmons & Simmons hiked its profits by 35% during its 2020-21 financial year, as well as lifting profit per equity partner (PEP) by 30%, making it the latest firm to announce a bumper set of results despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Profit at the U.K.-headquartered firm hit £171 million over the course of the year, with PEP reaching £980,000.
