Macfarlanes Hits Magic Circle Rates For 2021 NQ Pay

Macfarlanes’ newly qualified associates will earn over £100,000 this year, putting their remuneration package in the same arena as junior lawyers at the U.K. Magic Circle firms.

The firm announced on Tuesday that it has boosted base salaries for its newly-qualified associates to £90,000, after it slashed pay last summer at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
