For all the disruption, COVID-19 and the attendant rise of hybrid working has, at least, given law firms the opportunity to consider their working practices, identifying elements that work well whilst providing a path to reform those that perhaps do not. This is particularly true of the appraisal process, which even before Covid-19 was arguably on the cusp of change.
