Lawyers have welcomed news that U.K. lawyers will be able to practice in Australia without having to requalify as an Australian lawyer under the free trade agreement struck between the U.K. and Australia this week, but some say more work needs to be done to ease the process.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday agreed to a broad free trade agreement between the two nations covering a range of agriculture products, manufactured goods and services, under which U.K. lawyers will also gain access to Australia.
