Ashurst has advised the Western Sydney Airport on its contract with construction giant Multiplex to build the airport’s terminal building, while local corporate firm Allens acted for the builder.

The A$5.3 billion ($4.1 billion) Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport will be Sydney’s first 24-hour airport when it opens at the end of 2026 and the terminal building is the centerpiece of the airport and is being built to accommodate 10 million passengers a year.
