The victim of sexual harassment at top Australian law firm Allens has filed a complaint to the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) and to the Queensland Police Service regarding her case and the firm’s subsequent handling of the investigation.

Fiona Thatcher, a former Allens lawyer in the firm’s Brisbane office, has made additional submissions to the two bodies in relation to an alleged incident that took place in 2015, when she was a graduate lawyer at Allens, according to a person close to the situation.
