This week, arbitration again. Last week’s briefing asked “who will win Asia’s arbitration race?” We have some answers now. At least in the form of popularity, or perceived popularity. For the first time, the Queen Mary University of London survey named Singapore the most popular arbitration seat in the world. We will dig deeper into some of the data points in comparison with previous results and look at some takeaways that didn’t make to the story.

From Law.com International in Hong Kong, this is the Asia Legal Briefing. I am Anna Zhang, here to help you digest some of the stories my colleagues and I write about the law and the business of law in Asia. You can also find this briefing here on our website and sign up to receive copies directly in your inbox. And feel free to share comments and feedback at [email protected] or on Twitter @lawdotcomasia.
