The impending legalization of single-event sports betting in Canada will likely mean a big spike in law firms’ gaming practices, lawyers say.
A bill to amend Canada’s Criminal Code removing the prohibition on single-event sports betting was passed by the House of Commons last week and is now headed to the Senate for final approval before becoming law.
