Three lawyers have been elected to the lower house of the Dutch House of Representatives.
Marieke Koekkoek, an associate at Fieldfisher’s Amsterdam office, nabbed a seat for Volt, a new pan-European progressive party. Koekkoek, who joined the U.K. firm in 2019 and specialised in IP law and data protection, campaigned on better protection of fundamental rights among other items.
