Former DWF Australian Managing Partner Joins Local Firm

DWF’s former Australia managing partner Jamie McPherson has joined local firm HBA Legal to launch its occupational health and safety practice, the latest of several DWF lawyers likely to be seeking new jobs as the firm cuts back on its legal service offerings in Australia.

DWF said it plans to scale back in Australia, discontinuing legal services in Sydney, Melbourne and Newcastle and shedding 14 partners, leaving it with only four.
