A trio of public law heavyweights are currently advising organisers of a vigil for missing woman Sarah Everard, after the group claimed that London’s Metropolitan Police had told it that it would not be able to gather under current COVID-19 restrictions.

Law firm Bindmans, Blackstone Chambers and Doughty Street Chambers are acting for the ‘Reclaim These Streets’ group, which had organised a gathering on Clapham Common, close to where Everard went missing earlier in March.
