A raft of top firms including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Bird & Bird, Clifford Chance, Linklaters and DLA Piper are acting on a deal which will see buyout giant CVC Capital Partners acquire a £365 million stake in the Guinness Six Nations Championship.
CVC is set to acquire a 14% stake in the Six Nations while the rugby unions of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales will retain the other 86% of the business, according to an announcement by Six Nations on Thursday.
