Herbert Smith Freehills has elected its first-ever female senior partner and chairman to take over the role from incumbent James Palmer when his term ends in April.
Sydney-based corporate partner Rebecca Maslen-Stannage has been appointed by the partnership for a four-year term from May 1, 2021. She will continue to be based out of Sydney and will continue to be a fee-earner.
