Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has revamped its diversity and inclusion strategy, setting refreshed gender, race and ethnicity, and LGBTQ+ targets for its partnership and associates, joining several other firms in committing to improving the diversity of its ranks.

As part of the firm’s 2021-2026 global D&I strategy, the firm is aiming for a new partnership make up of at least 40% women and 40% men, with 20% being men, women or non-binary. The firm has also set a LGBTQ+ global partnership target of at least 5% by 2026, it announced in a statement on Monday.
