Hausfeld has served a letter of claim on British Gymnastics on behalf of 17 former British gymnasts, including three Olympians, outlining allegations of systemic physical and psychological abuse by coaches.
According to a statement by Hausfeld, the letter sets out the claimants’ case against British Gymnastics, accusing the body of prioritising sporting success over the physical and psychological needs of individual athletes, many of whom were children at the relevant time.
