Rajah & Tann has made two new additions to its Singapore office including a former Clifford Chance partner.
Raymond Tong had been a partner with the Magic Circle firm in the city-state for over a decade. He focuses on capital market transactions and mergers and acquisitions and has advised on several high-profile transactions during his time at Clifford Chance. Over the past two years, he advised on a $1.6 billion rights issue by Sembcorp Marine and an $813 million Singapore initial public offering of Prime US REIT. In 2017, he also advised on a $1.68 billion IPO of broadband services provider NetLink NBN Trust.
