Tom Shropshire, Linklaters’ U.S. head who had been tipped to run in the firm’s upcoming senior partner election, has left the firm to become drinks giant Diageo’s next general counsel and company secretary.
U.K.-based Diageo’s current GC Siobhán Moriarty is to retire from the company in September after 24 years, the company said in a statement.
