Australia’s HWL Ebsworth Sued by Former Partner for Alleged Underpayment

A former partner of Australia’s HWL Ebsworth is suing the firm, alleging it failed to pay her salary because she didn’t support the firm’s failed plan to float on the share market last year.

Sian Gilbert, who is making the claim, is one of several partners to have left HWL Ebsworth since it pulled its float last November because of a lack of investor appetite to buy into the firm.
