A London partner at Baker McKenzie has stepped down from the partnership to join one of his clients as chief executive officer and partner.

Tax partner Prabhu Narasimhan retired from the Baker McKenzie partnership in mid-January to take up the new role at Novator Capital, a $750 million alternative investment firm which focuses on debt and equity capital markets investments and selectively pre-IPO private equity investments. The firm was one of his long-standing clients.
