South African Breweries (SAB) is taking the South African government to court over the latest ban on the sale of alcohol, which has been viewed as one of the more punitive lockdown regulations enforced in the last week of 2020.
The reimposed level three lockdown was prompted by the second wave of COVID-19 infections reaching record levels and rising daily.
