Stephenson Harwood has hired a new partner in Hong Kong focusing on real estate transactions.
Janice Yau Garton joins from DLA Piper where she had practiced since 2015 and most recently as of counsel. Garton advises on commercial real estate transactions in Hong Kong, China and around the region. In 2016, she worked on DLA’s representation of The Carlyle Group on a $370 million sale of Shanghai’s Central Plaza office building to Chinese developer Vanke.
