Dispute resolution is a promising growth area for law firms in the Asia-Pacific region this year. Keith Brandt, managing partner of Dentons Hong Kong, told Law.com International recently that litigators and international arbitration lawyers in Hong Kong should see greater demand for their services this year, as pandemic-related disputes continue to increase.

Launched in 1979, Simmons & Simmons’ Hong Kong office is staffed by more than 120 people, making it the firm’s biggest office in the Asia-Pacific. Last year, the London-headquartered firm delayed partner distributions and temporarily reduced pay by 20% in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
