Clifford Chance, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Debevoise & Plimpton have taken the lead roles on the £308 million acquisition of Wolseley U.K.  a distributor of plumbing, infrastructure and utility products by U.S. based private investment firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R).

CD&R agreed on Monday to acquire Wolseley from listed British plumbing and heating products distributor Ferguson for £308 million, according to a statement by the private investment firm.
