Squire Patton Boggs has hired a Singapore-based partner focusing on financing work of offshore energy projects.
Kate Sherrard joins from Clifford Chance where she advises sponsors and operators on matters related to offshore oil and gas projects. In December, she was part of the Clifford Chance team that represented a group of lenders on the financing of two vessels used in liquefied natural gas projects off the coast of Ghana. Sherrard brought with her to Squire senior associate Bernice Chia who’s based in Hong Kong.
