Earlier this year, Charlie Jacobs commemorated his 30th anniversary at Linklaters. Joining the firm as a trainee in 1990, Jacobs has risen steadily through the ranks of the elite U.K. firm, entering the partnership in 1999 and taking on the role of senior partner and chairman in 2016. 

An M&A heavyweight and global mining expert, he has advised on many multi-billion pound deals for key firm clients such as Glencore, SABMiller, BHP Billiton and Zain.
