The departure of co-managing partner Nick Gravante to Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft this week has further underlined the tenuous position of Boies Schiller Flexner, which has already suffered the departure of nearly 60 partners since a leadership transition began last year.
Former partners and those close to the firm, in addition to industry experts with deep knowledge of previous law firm collapses, say Boies Schiller’s future is in doubt—even as founder David Boies and managing partner Natasha Harrison, who is expected to become deputy chair of the firm next week, look to assure people otherwise.
