The equity partners and senior management of Australian law firm HWL Ebsworth will share in cash and shares worth A$387 million ($285 million) when the firm lists on the Australian Securities Exchange, according to a prospectus seen by Law.com International.

HWL Ebsworth, which has most partners among Australian law firms, is pursuing an initial public offering as soon as the end of this year that could allow the firm’s 184 equity partners to take cash out of the business, to increase its profiles, and to give it the financial flexibility to acquire other firms or expand into complimentary businesses.
