Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has overhauled its German partnership structure ahead of the U.K.’s full transition out of the European Union at the end of the year.

The firm converted its U.K.-oriented limited liability partnership (LLP) structure into its German equivalent at the start of November in a Brexit-related move, a spokesperson for the firm confirmed. According to the firm’s legal notice, the firm now operates in Germany as Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater PartG mbB.
