The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has fined one current and one former Womble Bond Dickinson partner in the U.K., after the regulator found they had breached accounting rules, but the pair have avoided being referred to the industry’s disciplinary tribunal over the matter.

Former partner Nigel Williams and Leeds partner Simon Pilling reached an agreement with the SRA to pay fines of £2,000 and £1,000 respectively and both agreed to contribute towards the regulator’s legal costs, according to a notice published by the U.K. regulator on Monday.
