Ashurst has hired a new partner in Hong Kong focusing on structured financing and derivatives transactions.
Jonathan Chapman joins from King & Wood Mallesons where he was counsel. He specializes in advising investment banks, insurance companies, and corporate clients on complex derivatives transactions and related regulatory and disputes matters. In 2017, he was part of a team that advised the lead managers on a $475 million high-yield bond issued by Indian renewable energy company ReNew Power Ventures Private Ltd.
