HSBC has hired former Barclays group general counsel Bob Hoyt as its chief legal officer.
Hoyt will join the rival bank from January 2021, according to a HSBC statement on Wednesday. Hoyt was most recently group general counsel at Barclays Bank and stepped down in July after over seven years in the role.
