Major German law firms are confident of a return to normality amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, buoyed by the rapid adoption of digitisation and remote work. But legal bodies are reminding firms to stay vigilant as uncertainty over a possible second wave remains.

“Even though we have already regained a certain degree of normality,” Dr. Ulrich Wessels, President of the German Federal Bar Association (BRAK) says, “every law firm, large or small, is constantly faced with the task of being and remaining competitive.”
