Clifford Chance has won a £3 million contract with the U.K. government’s Department of International Trade (DIT) to provide legal advice on European Union (E.U.) trade agreements.

According to a filing on the government’s website, Clifford Chance won a one-year contract with the DIT starting in the first week of September to provide the government body with “external legal support to facilitate its securing of continuity agreements, to replicate the effects of existing E.U. trade agreements with trading partners to ensure continuity for UK businesses following the transition period”.
