Cloud-based firm Rimon Law has hired former Morgan Lewis & Bockius Beijing managing partner Xiaowei Ye in its China practice.
Ye will split time between Rimon’s Shenzhen and Washington, D.C. offices. She advises multinationals on transactions, operations and regulatory matters in China. Earlier in her career, she’s worked on some of the first foreign joint ventures in the Chinese financial sector. In 2016, she was part of Morgan Lewis’ team that advised China Life on a $940 million investment in a portfolio of 280 hotels in the U.S. managed by Starwood Capital Group. She is a member of a prominent political family in China.
