Nearly all of the staff acquired by DWF from BT Legal in November last year have taken voluntary redundancy, after negotiations to relocate the team fell through.

A total of 27 staff have now left the firm, a spokesperson said in a statement. The redundancies come just nine months after DWF acquired legacy BT Legal, a subsidiary of telecoms giant BT with whom the firm had previously partnered. Just two staff members from the BT contingent have agreed to stay on at the firm and relocate.
