Research by U.K.-headquartered law firm HFW has found that London was the most popular location of choice for international maritime arbitrations in 2019, with more than 80% of all cases taking place there during the year.
According to HFW’s research, London hosted 1,737 maritime arbitrations in 2019 – a 14% uptick on 2018, accounting for around 83% of all international maritime arbitrations.
