Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has parted ways with another of its German tax partners in the wake of the cum-ex scandal.
The Frankfurt-based partner was involved in the cum-ex advisory business 10 years ago, a person close to the situation said. The person added that the lawyer - who was promoted to partner in 2010 – is the last partner at the firm who advised on these types of products.
