Women leaders at several “New Law” businesses have signed an open letter calling on general counsel to renew their diversity and inclusion efforts as the coronavirus pandemic threatens supplier diversity in the legal sector.
The open letter, organised by Obelisk Support CEO Dana Denis-Smith, is addressed to GCs at businesses including Uber, BT and Royal Mail, and asks GCs not to overlook smaller businesses when reviewing budgets “on behalf of all women who have together contributed to an emerging ecosystem of alternative legal services companies”.
