UK Lawyers Plummet Down Busiest M&A Adviser Rankings

Scandinavian lawyers were the busiest corporate lawyers in Europe in 2019, according to rankings of the most prolific M&A advisers that featured hardly anyone from the U.K.

According to new data from Mergermarket, six of the top 10 busiest M&A and private equity lawyers on the continent last year were based in Sweden, Denmark and Norway, with local lawyers citing the region’s relative stability as a driver as activity.
