Paul Hastings has hired Chaobo Fan as a capital markets partner in Hong Kong.
Fan, who was previously an associate with Latham & Watkins, is dual qualified in the U.S. and Hong Kong. He qualified in Hong Kong in June of this year. He focuses on securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate matters. Earlier this year, he was part of the Latham team that advised the joint sponsors on Beijing-based securities brokerage house Shenwan Hongyuan Group Co. Ltd.’s $1.16 billion initial public offering in Hong Kong.
