Exclusive: A&O and O’Melveny Pull Plug On Merger Talks

Allen & Overy and O’Melveny & Myers have called an end to their merger talks, Legal Week can reveal.

The decision to not move forward with talks, almost 18 months after they were revealed to be in discussions, came amid adverse macroeconomic conditions that have impacted how a deal would be valued, according to two people close to the process.
