FTSE 100 software company Sage has appointed Vicki Bradin as general counsel, alongside a number of other changes to the company’s senior management team.

Bradin will replace Michael Robinson, Sage’s current company secretary and legal director, who will retire on 30 September. Robinson, who has been in the role since 2002, is also a non-executive director at Impeller Assurance & Resilience.

Sage hired Bradin this June from financial services software business Misys, where she was associate general counsel. Her role involved M&A work, maintaining the company’s IP portfolio, business development initiatives and advising management on litigation.

Bradin trained and qualified at Mayer Brown before joining Allen & Overy in 2006. She then moved to Thomson Reuters where she was a legal consultant, before joining Misys.

Other changes to the senior management team at Sage include the hire of of PROS Holdings COO Blair Crump as president. The current president for Europe, Brendan Flattery, will leave the company on 30 September.
