Thirty law firms have “registered serious interest” in a scheme to find new roles for a group of trainees left without places due to the administration of Halliwells.

The scheme, which was initiated by Burges Salmon earlier this week, has seen the creation on the Bristol-based firm’s website of a section for Halliwells trainees to upload their CVs and offer letters. Once the deadline is closed on 13 August, these will then be forwarded to participating firms.
