“I would like to be a lawyer and I am due to begin applying to universities this autumn. I am considering studying Land Economy at Cambridge University; the course comprises law, economics and environment. As I have always wanted a law course with economics, this would be ideal. However, it is not a law degree and I do not know if, come job application time, I would be at a disadvantage compared to candidates who have taken a normal law degree.”
