Ever the party animal, The Diary was sure to make an appearance at Villa d’Este on Lake Como earlier this month for Legal Week‘s Private Client Legal Forum, to sink a few Martinis and generally rub shoulder pads with the international jetset.
While it would be fair to say that a good time was indeed had by all, fortunately there was no repeat of the incident last year when a private client lawyer took a Rolls-Royce for a road test – before returning the car in less-than-showroom condition after a close encounter with one of those famous Italian bends.
