Irwin Mitchell scoops Walker Morris partner to helm northern litigation team

Irwin Mitchell has raided York-shire heavyweight Walker Morris for a new partner to head its commercial litigation practice in the northern region.

Nick Bates will join the top 25 UK firm in the newly-created role in January 2006, overseeing the firm’s practice in Leeds and Sheffield. It is understood more lawyers may also move across with Bates.
