Herbert Smith has appointed Oracle’s UK finance director, Norman Green, as its chief operating officer (COO), handing him one of the most senior legal roles yet filled by a non-lawyer.
Green, who was previously director of finance at Andersen UK, formally accepted the offer on 28 September and will start at the firm on 28 November.
